La Bionda - Begur, Spain

"Some of the vintage items used to decorate the hotel were even bought in fleamarkets"

One of our favorites in Costa Brava. Located in Begur, this boutique hotel is built inside a 17th-century building that has been restored by Quintana Partners.

But what makes it unique? We love how original the design actually is and the vintage items used to give it such a strong personality. Even though the building needed a total restoration, Quintana made it possible to preserve the original elements such as the brick walls or the floors.

The rooms are designed as a tribute to women with interesting backgrounds like Charlotte Cooper, the first woman to win the Olympics. Therefore, each room has a different personality depending on the personality of the woman to whom it is dedicated.

Even more interesting is the fact that many of the items were designed by Quintana and others were bought in flea markets.
